Equity Magazine Winter 2019
From Equity Magazine’s Winter 2019 issue at the opening party for their new Glasgow Office showing Doreen’s ‘Mystery Woman’ photo from 1954 which appeared in The Scotsman, documenting the first Scottish Branch meeting after which Doreen successfully initiated a strike raising the pay and gaining contracts for Variety Dancers for the first time. The photo continues to adorn the wall of Equity’s offices.
