Stage Door’s feature on the women of An Audience With…, paying tribute to the acheivements June, Doreen and Marie have made across their lives and their continued love of dance with Janice Parker.
Liam Rudden’s feature for the Evening News traverses through the glitz, glamour and hardships June, Doreen & Marie faced throughout their careers. It also served to promote An Audience With… to the public and advertise our involvement with the Festival Theatre’s anniversary show 25 Live.
Equity Magazine Winter 2019
From Equity Magazine’s Winter 2019 issue at the opening party for their new Glasgow Office showing Doreen’s ‘Mystery Woman’ photo from 1954 which appeared in The Scotsman, documenting the first Scottish Branch meeting after which Doreen successfully initiated a strike raising the pay and gaining contracts for Variety Dancers for the first time. The photo continues to adorn the wall of Equity’s offices.
