Doreen’s ‘Leith is Where The Heart Is’ performance at the Hidden Door Festival was outdoors in the Courtyard of Leith Theatre. We decided to create a trilogy – a sound-loop of Doreen talking about Mood Indigo, followed by the re-created performance by Katie and the third part of our trilogy, written text about Doreen in the programme of the event. Supported by our production manager Fi Johnstone at all three performances it was a real…where it started. It is so good to know that our work, and Doreen and her choreography from 65 years ago, has reach and relevance in today’s world.
