“June’s wee granddaughter Millie with us today and has become a regular and a very welcome member of the troupe. Millie is a chip off the old block, and has the family genes for dancing and performing. Her Dad has put taps on her sparkly shoes, and she is off, dominating the tap boards, with particularly brilliant duetting with Marie – it’s great to have the family involved with shared showbiz in their bones. So many stories to tell and information to yield. We never quite know who or how many of June’s glorious family will turn up, but when they do, they always burst in with great energy and gusto. Making a ‘grand entrance’ as June would say! I managed to get a wee duet in with Marie too, and with June, as did Katie.”
“It was a busy hectic good day with lots of Festival Theatre staff passing through, looking on or joining us for a blether. And to top it off we think that the bottom image on the front cover of the book ‘Scottish Showbusiness: Music Hall Variety and Panto’ by Frank Bruce has June’s Mum in it!” – Janice Parker
