“The highlight of today was Paul Hudson from Festival Theatre presenting Marie with her framed fully conserved Raymond Sister’s playbill. Usually kept rolled up in her suitcase of memorabilia this bright yellow hand-painted playbill, of which there is only one that we know of, was a total surprise for Marie. We had liaised with her family about doing this and they were delighted that we could make it happen. Marie too was overwhelmed to see it and to know that it would now be in the world for a great many years to come. This beautiful hand-painted object that Marie and her fellow Raymond Sister used to take with them from venue to venue to publicize their act – The Raymond Sisters – Style, Grace & Elegance – can now be hung on the wall for all to see and admire” – Janice Parker
