Lots of chat about last week’s visits and how great they were – also, Jack Gillon wants to write us up for Lost Edinburgh on Facebook. We likewise started our Facebook posts via my Janice Parker Projects site and everybody is happy with that. Managed to film a fabulous duet by Doreen and Marie to ‘Hello Dolly’ on my phone and we put it on both Facebook and Twitter. Began planning Doreen’s 87th birthday, “I’ve got prosecco in the house,” says Doreen, and when Marie compliments her looks says “It’s all smoke and mirrors”! We watched excerpts from ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’, ‘Top Hat’, ‘42nd Street’, Eleanor Powell (she is the best), ‘Lala Land’ and Fred Astaire on the iPad. Plus, danced to Johnny Maddox and Neil Ogley, tap dance rhythms, and a few times to Fred Astaire. We also tapped to a waltz, with lots of free-forming and always finishing together. Ofcourse!Janice Parker
