The last day of the season before we take a break for the summer. Reviewing the year so far and what the highlights have been for each of us; our performance event is of course high on the list, we are still buzzing, and teaching Euan and Laura the front of house staff is a close second. Watching them both learn, blossom and then perform with us, and Laura bringing her younger sister Celia in to join us one Monday and giving her a tap lesson has been joyous and profound.
Marie sums it all up beautifully ‘You never know what your day is going to hold when you start out in the morning and here we are with other dancers. It is lovely to still be in contact with other dancers and to be talking to people who have the same language as me, and to still feel I can move. Keep the old and add the new’.
