First PodCast recording day with Amanda Stanley, who has set up her equipment in the Founders Room at Festival Theatre. Doreen is up first and is great! We’ve spent the last couple of weeks planning what we are going to talk about based on the brief we have been given.
“Betty isn’t able to join us at the theatre so we all dash in a cab to her home and spend the afternoon with her. The recording equipment is set up in her living room and we are off! Betty’s dad always used to tell her she had been “vaccinated with a gramophone needle” so recording went without a hitch! We also get the chance to see some of Betty’s vast collection of memorabilia. A real and much-loved treasure trove of photographs, newspaper cuttings and playbills. – Janice Parker
