“We were in the Festival Theatre Studio today with the whole team: Janice, Katie, Martin O’Connor, Fi Johnston, Marie, Doreen, June, Gavin, Cheryl, Millie and as Martin Clark couldn’t be here his colleague Eva was there to film – busy busy! This was the start of our rehearsals for our October Show, Fi was in Stage Manager mode, which is great and kept us focussed on creating and rehearsing.“
“It was lovely being in the studio with the barres and the floor and very conducive to our dancing selves. We spent time on tap, ballet and Doreen’s Mood Indigo choreography.“
“She is recreating it for Katie, who said “ It’s such a privilege to have Doreen directing me and dancing alongside me, there’s something in this, and I’m loving it and moved by it” We have a week in the studio to prepare and devise our show. Everyone will come in at different times and days and on Friday we plan a public sharing to an invited audience to test the waters. A great start to what I’m sure this will be the beginning of a productive week in the studio” – Janice Parker
