‘Back at Betty’s today and giving it laldie in her kitchen. Watched 42nd Street and Steppin’ Out on Betty’s TV in the comfort of a good sofa. It is always great to watch films with Betty, Doreen and Marie as they have so much to share about the choreography, the dancers and the steps. Learned today that Betty still has all her band music which is an incredible thing to have – how great would it be to see if we could have it played again live. It would be wonderful to hear it. Also chatted about The Five Jocks which was George Snr’s (Betty’s father-in-law) first act. It would be great to know more about that, obviously very Scottish, act.’
